Glacius' ship flies to Earth. Meanwhile, in the Lin Kuei temple, Sub-Zero suddenly feels a shake in the ground and decides to investigate the occurrence. He walks out in search of the area, then finds a large crater in the ground and at the edge of it a large ship of alien origins. Sub-Zero jumps into the crater, and inspects the ship. Suddenly, a door opens and behind it is Glacius. Sub-Zero steps back in a defensive stance as Glacius exits the ship.
Sub-Zero: Come any closer and you'll meet an icy fate.
Glacius roars in response.
FREEZE, CREEP! FIGHT!
Sub-Zero fires an ice blast, which Glacius counters with an arctic blast. Glacius runs at Sub-Zero, but Sub-Zero sidesteps him and creates a icicle-like sword and slashes Glacius's back with it. Glacius uppercuts Sub-Zero. He then grabs his leg and spins him around and throws him into the air. As Sub-Zero falls, Glacius readies his fist to punch Sub-Zero. Suddenly, Sub-Zero creates a icicle-like sword again and stabs Glacius' head with it.
