Spider-Man is a character from Marvel Comics. One of its most popular characters, he is the star of several related media including movies, TV shows, and video games.

Spider-Man fought against Ruby Rose in an episode of One Minute Melee. He has also fought against Batman in an episode of Death Battle, and Mikasa Ackerman in an episode of DBX.

History[]

Peter Parker was your average meek nerd who lived with his Aunt May and Uncle Ben, until one fateful day where he was bitten by a radioactive spider while visiting a science exhibition. The spider bite changed Peter's DNA, giving him the proportionate strength, speed, reflexes, and wall-crawling of a spider; his own engineering genius led him to develop web-shooting canisters and increasingly high-tech costumes as he became the legendary Spider-Man. However, Peter soon learned that with great power comes great responsibility. Too focused on the fame he could earn with his new talents, his apathy towards stopping a criminal later led to that man murdering his own Uncle Ben. Realizing that the world needed his help, Peter stepped up to not only combat world-ending threats alongside the Avengers, but also little tasks as a friendly neighbourhood superhero.

Personality[]

Peter Parker is a geek fascinated by all things science, and whether as a teenager or young adult, often feels inexperienced in the face of senior superheroes, though he always tries his best. He prefers to connect with the people he helps on a more down to earth level, and will go out of his way to perform menial tasks such as delivering pizzas or rescuing cats from trees. His joking demeanor helps him in fights as well; by mocking opponents, Spider-Man not only teases them into getting sloppy, but also disguises his own fear.

  • The Spider-Verse is a concept in Marvel comics, where millions of alternate realities have their own "spider". Every one of them, from the live-action movies to the Capcom games to the Japanese versions, came together to battle a deadly vampiric army.
  • Spider-man's DBX against Mikasa was removed from Youtube due to excessive comment aggression to Screwattack and the animator. It remains viewable on the Roosterteeth website for free.
  • Spider-Man's co-creator Steve Ditko originally intended for his suit to be orange and purple, but this was later replaced with his iconic red-and-blue outfit.
