My second one minute melee will be between Shadow from the Sonic the Hedgehog series and Galen Marek (Starkiller) from the Star Wars universe.
Introduction[]
The Rouge Shadow touches down in the middle of a city. Starkiller had a new target: Not a Jedi but a being powerful enough to bring the Empire to its knees if he so wished to do so. Starkiller saw the target: a black hedgehog and he ignited his lightsaber. The noise drew Shadow's attention to him. "I don't know how a hedgehog, a mere animal can be such a threat but I will destroy you and at last-" Shadow cut him off. "Your rise to power will not come at the expense of me. You don't know what you're facing and I can promise you, if you don't leave, you will fall."
The Battle[]
"Live and let die... Fight!"
Starkiller went for a saber throw but Shadow used a chaos blast to send it flying away. Starkiller was stunned by this power and found himself on the receiving end of a homing attack. Shadow went to unleash chaos punishment but a force repulse sent the hedgehog back. Shadow then fell victim to an onslaught of force lightning, burning the hedgehog's fur. Shadow launched a retolitary chaos spear and got up in Starkiller's face an again used chaos punishment. The attack met the same fate, this time Starkiller used force grip to throw Shadow into a car. Starkiller charged up an almighty force push but Shadow teleported forward. He then summoned the chaos emeralds and attempted to use his super form but Vader's apprentice used another force push to scatter the emeralds. Shadow then used another chaos blast which was met with a force repulse. Only Shadow's move was stronger and so sent Starkiller hard into the wall. Shadow then removed his inhibitor rings and took the fight right to Starkiller. The apprentice wasn't sure what to do, he used all his force abilities to keep Shadow at bay and then finally recalled his lightsaber. After a force grip, he threw Shadow into a nearby bus and then held the hedgehog in place. "Any last words, rat?" Starkiller spat. As he threw the lightsaber, Shadow responded. "Chaos Control!" he called, freezing time. Shadow then ducked the blade and fired a chaos spear into Starkiller's eyes, blinding him. One more time, Shadow called upon a chaos blast and the battle was over.
Aftermath[]
Starkiller's comlink was then filled by Juno's concerned voice. But there would be no reply. Starkiller had failed and now Vader needed to seek a new apprentice.
