History[]
Facing financial difficulties and losing the console wars, Sega made a desperate move and called for help. In 1997, Segata Sanshiro emerged from his reclusive life of training in the mountains to save the sales of the Sega Saturn, the aforementioned company's newest video game console. His plan was to violently attack anyone not playing the Saturn, and fear of his fists resulted in increased sales. Sega's newfound success eventually led a rival company to attack their office with a missile, and Segata sacrificed his life to stop the explosion... or did he?
He also made an appearance at the World Cup to score a victory for Japan.
Personality[]
Segata only cares about one thing: the Sega Saturn. Anyone not deriving their entertainment from this machine is violently dealt with regardless of age. Despite leaving his victims too crippled to stand, let alone play video games, fear of his wrath resulted in more people buying the Saturn. He is not afraid to cheat and use his overwhelming physical strength to his advantage in professional sporting competitions, likely because nobody has the courage to tell him otherwise.
