Melee![]

It's a seemingly normal day for Kratos, walking alongside the outskirts of Olympus.

Suddenly, he sees a golden figure in the distance. He looks at the figure for a few seconds, then thousands of golden weapons begin to fly out at him. He dodges them, and then begins running toward the figure.

"You really think you could beat me, a God?" asks the figure, who is revealed to be Gilgamesh.

"I will slay you and your family!" Kratos yells at the hero prince. Gilgamesh laughs.

"I'd love to see you try, mongrel."

PLAYING GOD?

FIGHT!

Kratos jumps up with his Blades of Exile ready, and then slashes toward Gilgamesh. Gilgamesh dodges the attack and then opens up the Gates of Babylon. He draws a drill-like sword and parries Kratos' attack.

"You need to work on your aim." Gilgamesh tells to Kratos with a grin. Kratos yells again and slashes at Gilgamesh, scratching his armor. "Agh!" Gilgamesh grunts. He jumps back and stabs Kratos with the drill sword, but then Kratos breaks free and draws the Claws of Hades. He begins striking at Gilgamesh some more.

Gilgamesh is knocked back, but he quickly draws Gae Bolg, striking Kratos and knocking him backward several feet.

From a distance, Kratos draws the Bow of Apollo. He fires several shots from the arrow at Gilgamesh, which he is surprised to see. To counter, Gilgamesh fires a wave of golden weapons at Kratos. The wave of weapons knocks him back against a wall. Gilgamesh then runs toward Kratos, but Kratos pulls out the Blade of Olympus. He strikes at Gilgamesh with the sword and stabs him, drawing some blood. Gilgamesh angrily looks at him and draws his own sword, Ea.

FINAL ROUND!

FIGHT!

Gilgamesh and Kratos slash at each other with their swords some more. Kratos jumps up and slashes at Gilgamesh from above, which Gilgamesh barely blocks. He slashes at Kratos with Ea, sending waves of red wind flying about everywhere.

Kratos delivers a Sparta kick into Gilgamesh's chest, knocking him down. Kratos draws the Blade of Olympus and is about to impale Gilgamesh with it.

"I... am... a God...!" Gilgamesh yells. He shoves Kratos off of him and then delivers his most powerful possible strike with Ea, reducing Kratos to nothing but dust. "...Mongrel."

Gilgamesh walks off.
