History[]
Kitana is the biological daughter of King Jerrod and Queen Sindel, and is the princess of Edenia. After Edenia was taken over by the tyrannical Shao Kahn, she was adopted by him, after her father was killed and her mother became Kahn’s wife. Kitana grew very loyal to Shao Kahn and worked as an assassin alongside her best friend Jade, and evil clone Mileena. But when Kitana discovered the truth about her past, she sought out to take revenge for Shao Kahn’s evil acts.
Personality[]
When she was loyal to Shao Kahn, Kitana was fairly stubborn, naive, and angry. However, after freeing herself from Shao Kahn’s grasp, Kitana became more noble and more caring, becoming a loyal ally of the Earthrealm. As she is the princess of Edenia, Kitana possesses the demeanor of one of royalty, typically strong and courageous. She shows a strong disdain to her enemies, most notably to her evil clone/twin sister, Mileena. Despite wanting to stop those wishing to harm the Earthrealm, Kitana isn’t above trying to reason with them; she manages to show kindness to her enemies, though beings like the notorious Shao Kahn are far gone from reasoning. Her main goal in life is to get revenge on Shao Kahn for enslaving her homeworld of Edenia and wants to restore all realms back to their former greatness.
