History[]

In the Kalos region, trainers can choose from one out of three starter Pokemon at Professor Sycamore’s lab. One of these starters is the water frog known as Froakie. Starting out as a Froakie, it eventually evolves into Frogadier before finally turning into the Ninja Pokemon known as Greninja. Greninjas are very sneaky and fast creatures. They can throw shurikens made out of compressed water at such intense speeds, they can easily slice through metal. While in combat, it tends to toy around with its opponent. It does this by using swift movements while also slicing the opponent with its shurikens. If a Greninja has a strong enough bond with their trainer, the Greninja can go through a transformation called Bond Phenomenon. This occurs when a trainer has a great bond with their Pokemon. This phenomenon transforms Greninja into Ash Greninja: a much more agile and much more powerful version of Greninja.

Personality[]

Greninjas are some of the fastest and most agile Pokemon ever. They’re very quick on their feet and use their speed to toy around with and confuse opponents while slicing them with Water Shurikens. Greninjas are very stealthy creatures and are commonly found within the teams of ninjas. If a Greninja were to grow a strong enough bond with their trainer, the frog would be able to experience a transformation called Bond Phenomenon. This transforms them into Ash Greninja, a much stronger and much more nimble version of the Pokemon.
