Snorlax is a normal-type Pokémon that debuted in the Kanto region. It evolves from Munchlax if leveled up with a very high friendship with its trainer.

History[]
Snorlax lives and breathes to eat and sleep, often requiring a minimum of 400kg of food a day. While in search of food, it can be incredibly disruptive, easily shrugging off any attempt to keep it away from food stores, and it can easily deplete the food from an entire island in a matter of days if left unchecked. When it does get full, a Snorlax will sit down and rest on the spot, and since it weighs half a ton, it can be incredibly difficult to move; especially if it falls asleep in the middle of a mountain path or intersection. However, it can be awoken by a Poké-flute.
It is capable of Gigantamax evolution in the Galar region, becoming as large and as mobile as a mountain.
Personality[]
Snorlax are very lazy, and will do very little to move from the spots where they have chosen to sleep; it can take incredible effort for one to roll over or sit up, let alone stand. The only guaranteed motivation a Snorlax will have is food; it will make long journeys to find the food it wants, and may actually chose to swim between islands in order to fill its belly. Provided it is content with its ability to eat and rest, it is a peaceful Pokémon, if unaware how inconvenient its habits can be for everyone else.
In battle, Snorlax is very minimalistic. It packs incredible power, and the lazy glancing blows it puts forth are often all that is needed to deal with opponents. However, should it need to exert its true strength, Snorlax can become a devastating force to be reckoned with.
