History[]
Aeon Calcos was once a Spartan warrior, who was given sacred weapons to use to destroy the evil sword Soul Edge. However, on his quest, he succumbed to the rain of madness, and slaughtered an entire village. Hearing of his wicked deeds, a religious cult captured him and experimented in changing his body, making him the first of the Lizard Men. Over time, his human nature faded away and became replaced by his animalistic instincts. He still wields his trusted sword and shield, but with a more bloodthirsty ferocity.
A former servant of Nightmare, Aeon now hunts the evil sword Soul Edge for himself, believing his lost soul is trapped inside.
Personality[]
Once an honourable soldier, Lizardman's human values have faded. He has the intelligence, cunning, and predator instincts of a wild hunter, though as the chief of the Lizardmen he also has leadership capability. He is also constantly torn as to what his purpose in life now is, fueled by resentment to gods that forsook him.
